Amelia Fairfax, MD

Dr. Fairfax has practiced in the West Ashley area for the past 14 years and feels lucky to have landed so close to where she grew up. She graduated from Middleton High School, the College of Charleston and the Medical University of SC. She even attended graduate courses at the Citadel and often jokes she has attended almost every college in town! Family Medicine has been a great fit for her passion of preventative and primary care. “It is such an honor to know and take care of several generations of a family.” She did break away for residency in Denver Colorado and has a fondness for Mountains. She is the busy mother of 3 teenage boys and enjoys tennis, boating, needlework and raising chickens.
